STOP COOKING PASTA DIRECTLY INTO THE SAUCE PLEASE DON’T HURT YOURSELF IN THAT WAY

My mother’s italian boyfriend cooks pasta right into the sauce and tbh it annoys me

You can’t just cook the sauce directly into the pasta! That’s just plain wrong, even I know that.

You just have to put some water to boil with a pinch of salt.

When it boils you put in the pasta and wait how much the package says to wait, then cook the sauce in another pan!

As a half Italian I can say both Americans and Italians make theirbsauce the same way. Do not cook the pasta in the sauce, you’ll end up getting all that crap that cooks off of the pasta in it.

You’re supposed to rinse the pasta after its done to get rid of that crud. Can’t do that if it’s in your sauce.

If you wanna feel froggy, add a little tomato juice to the water you’re boiling the pasta in, it gives the noodles a bit more of a taste than normal.
