Ok this was written a few months ago, but I’m reposting because…wait for it…I’m writing a part 2 for this! Stay tuned…:)
Part 2 coming later today!
Sam tossed the keys to the impala on the table, setting the paper bag beside them.
“My baby ok?” asked Dean, stumbling into the room, whiskey rolling off of
his tongue. He sat down and almost missed the chair. Sam rolled his eyes.“Yes Dean, the car is fine. How can you be drunk already? I’ve only been
gone for thirty minutes,” (Secretly, Sam was pleased his brother was drunk. It
would make this a lot easier.) Dean ignored him, grabbing for the bag on the
table. Sam’s eyes widened for a second, and snatched the bag from Dean’s
fingers. Dean furrowed his eyebrows and frowned.“What did you bring back? I’m hungry!”
“Relax, I got what you asked for.” Sam reached into the bad and pulled out a
greasy, wax paper-wrapped sandwich. He set it in front of Dean, who smiled so
wide, the corners of his eyes wrinkled in delight.“Is this the – “Dean began.
“Yes Dean, it’s the triple bacon barbecue deluxe. With extra pickles.” Sam
scowled as he spoke, as if he could taste the words themselves. Dean laughed at
his brother’s disgust. Sam reached back
in the bag and pulled out a large salad. It was Dean’s turn to roll his eyes.
“Really
Sam? A salad? Again?” But Sam ignored him. He left the salad on the
table, and reached in the bag once more. He handed Dean
a small Styrofoam container.“What’s this?” Dean asked, frowning. “You’re not gonna make me eat one of
those leafy green things, are you?”“Nope. Just open it.” Sam grinned
Dean leaned back, closing one eye when he lifted the lid, as if what was
inside was going to jump out at him. He
sat up straight when he saw what it was.“Pie! You got me pie!”
Sam shrugged. “They had a special, so I thought, ‘why not’?”
Sam watched Dean as he dug into his pie, leaving his burger untouched beside
him. He began to slowly walk backwards, quietly taking the bag with
him, hiding it behind his back.“Hey, uh…I gotta get something from the car. I’ll be back in a minute,
alright?”Dean just nodded, waving his fork at Sam, completely engrossed in his
favorite dessert. Sam turned around and headed to the garage.Once he was safely alone in the Impala, he carefully opened the bag he brought
with him and pulled out another wax wrapped sandwich. Grease dripped from the
corner of the paper. Watching through the windshield for any signs of Dean, he slowly
unwrapped the triple bacon barbecue deluxe burger he had ordered for himself.“Oh,
yeah,” he groaned as he sunk his teeth into the secret meal. He took
his time, savoring every
bite. He knew if Dean found out, he would never live it down, so he hid
the
burger every few minutes, looking up, just in case his brother appeared
suddenly. He knew
he only had maybe ten minutes before his brother would pull himself from
his
food-induced haze to look for him, so he dug deeper into the burger,
sighing
deeply and moaning softly, sauce dripping from the corners of is mouth.
He wiped them with the back of his hand. When he had finished half of
the burger, he wrapped it
up and got out of the car, hiding the remains behind a stack of old
rags. He
planned to go back to finish it later tonight, after Dean had gone to
bed.Picking up his berry smoothie on the way in, he quickly swallowed a few
sips, to cover up as much of the burger smell as he could.Smiling as he walked back inside, he saw Dean just finishing up his own
burger. He knew his secret was safe. Dean would never suspect his “health nut
brother’ would have a secret addiction to greasy food. But at 11:47, when he tiptoed into the garage again, his jaw dropped when he
reached behind the rags and found…nothing. The voice behind him made him jump.
“Lose something, Sam?”
