Karate does work?

Karate is a teacher.  Karate is facing the end of the marking period this week.  Karate has a lot of grading to do.  Karate fell asleep.  So now Karate is going to be up all night grading.  Sad Karate.  Stressed Octopus. 🐙

This was me last week.  Now, this week, ¾ of the school is leaving early on Thursday because our boys are in the playoffs and have to travel three and a half hours to get to their game, and nobody will be awake on Friday because those same ¾ of our kids will be getting home at 2 or 3 in the morning and asked to be at school at 8 and we’re out all next week.

Why couldn’t I have this week to get the grading done? 😦

I technically have until Sunday, but I have a convention Friday/Saturday and it’s a 4 hr drive and I’m leaving Thursday after school (unless it snows which it might in which case I’m taking a half day so at least I can drive in the snow in the daylight instead of in the dark) so all my grades need to be done by tomorrow night.

Karate update:  Karate has graded 3 classes out of 5.  Karate is taking a break to read some fanfic and then to chug thru the last two classes….maybe I’ll get 2 hours of sleep?
