‘Manning up’ won’t make your problems and emotions magically go away. In fact it will contribute to mental health issues. This notion is harmful because invalidates what men go through. It also insinuates that they are weak for struggling with their emotions. This is wrong on all levels. MEN PLEASE DON’T SUFFER SILENTLY! You deserve to be heard. If someone insults you for feeling too much, walk away. Someone out there will listen and help.
