What is it?

It’s an anonymous love week (everyone who enters will be assigned someone to send anonymous sastiel headcanons to and someone will send them anonymous sastiel headcanons too for the duration of the week)

How does is it work?

  • We will randomly match everyone using an online matching generator
  • You will get a URL in your askbox from me August 17-18th
  • The Sastiel Love Week will be held August 20th-26th

How to participate?

  • Reblog this post before August 15th
  • Please put in the tags if you are ok with nsfw or would rather be sent and send sfw content only
  • Follow the Sastiel Love Week Blog (We’ll be reblogging people’s headcanons there during the week)

Rules:

  • Headcanons can be as long or short as you want, just make sure to send and publish at least one headcanon a day (you can use ask box or submit (directions on how to submit anonymously here) )
  • At the end of the week you can come off anon if you want to (but it’s totally optional)
  • Please tag any messages you receive as “#Sastiel Love Week” (with spaces) in the first 5 tags of each headcanon so we can reblog it to the blog (and you may want to track the tag so you can enjoy other people’s headcanons too)

Theme suggestions: (you don’t have to follow these but they might be fun)

  • Monday (20th): Firsts
  • Tuesday (21st):  AU (reverse verse, all human, all angels, a/b/o, coffee shop, college, hs, etc)
  • Wednesday (22nd): Outsider pov or day in the life
  • Thursday (23rd): Angst (break ups, misunderstandings,  helping each other deal with their trauma (bc we all know they have a lot), etc.)
  • Friday (24th): Just couple things™ aka Sam and Cas being in a healthy relationship and just being great boyfriends
  • Saturday (25th): Episode related (what you think will happen in the next season, things we missed, what you wish happened, etc)
  • Sunday (26th):   Domestic or Future!fic aka let them be happy™

Sam Dean, and Baby

This is such a beautiful shot of SPN’s 3 leads, but have you ever sat and thought about how much Baby symbolizes Sam to Dean?

I realize it’s just a head canon of mine, but I don’t need to go very far out of canon to see it. Also, Sam and Baby don’t parallel each other all the time, but sometimes they do very closely. Lets have a look, shall we?

Sam and Baby are the same “style” Dean isnt driving around in a pretty little sports car, which could subconsciously symbolize a sexy woman to him, instead he drives around in this big, strong, dark, gas guzzler that can carry around bodies, monsters, and weapons. She is fast and kicks ass, and can take a big beating and keep on going. Just like Sam.

Dean will do anything to save either. In the beginning of S2, Baby had been smashed to smitherenes by the truck, and while Dean was in the hospital, Bobby told Sam there was nothing left of the car to save, and Sam told him that if there was any single salvagable part left of the car, Dean would want to save her. I know we all know he feels the same about Sam.

Here’s a heartbreaking thought

It’s fun to imagine Gabriel being a royal pain in the ass in the Empty. Yeah, he’s snarky and witty, we love to imagine and draw him annoying the holy hell out of the Cosmic Entity.

But I don’t think it’ll go that way.

When Castiel was awake, the Cosmic Entity used his feelings of depression and loneliness against Cas, almost overpowering him and getting him back to sleep.

But Gabriel isn’t depressed.

He’s broken.

He may come off as “oh, I’m a whole new man” and all, but he spent years, YEARS (and that number gets worse depending on you think he was in hell or not when he was captured) having his Grace, an integral part of any angel (his very being) ripped out of him.

Every. Day.

He was constantly told he was nothing. Only useful as a milking cow. That he was lower than dirt.

And he still believes that.

If Gabriel meets the Cosmic Entity, and it makes it’s way through his head, Gabriel will shatter. He’ll fall back into those quiet whimpers, that terrible hunched over posture, just like he did when Asmodeus had him.

I don’t think he has as strong a connection as Castiel does to the Winchester’s or other people that he can follow it home.

Aaaaaaand I’m crying…

I did not need this right before bed. How dare you!

May I say I hope most fervently that you are wrong?

My fear was that Gabriel would look at the possibility of sleep and embrace it, because if he can’t end it, at least he can step out. 😦

But I want my favorite archangel back.
