Karate is a teacher. Karate is facing the end of the marking period this week. Karate has a lot of grading to do. Karate fell asleep. So now Karate is going to be up all night grading. Sad Karate. Stressed Octopus. 🐙
This was me last week. Now, this week, ¾ of the school is leaving early on Thursday because our boys are in the playoffs and have to travel three and a half hours to get to their game, and nobody will be awake on Friday because those same ¾ of our kids will be getting home at 2 or 3 in the morning and asked to be at school at 8 and we’re out all next week.
Why couldn’t I have this week to get the grading done? 😦

I technically have until Sunday, but I have a convention Friday/Saturday and it’s a 4 hr drive and I’m leaving Thursday after school (unless it snows which it might in which case I’m taking a half day so at least I can drive in the snow in the daylight instead of in the dark) so all my grades need to be done by tomorrow night.

Karate update: Karate has graded 3 classes out of 5. Karate is taking a break to read some fanfic and then to chug thru the last two classes….maybe I’ll get 2 hours of sleep?
Final Karate Update: Karate is finished grading and is now going to bed! Yay 2 hrs of sleep!!

We all have ships we don’t like. A lot of us even have ships we hate– but that doesn’t make it okay to tell someone not to ship something, and it certainly doesn’t make it alright to send someone hate/shame them for what they ship!

You’re very right, Hazel! I’ve got a few out there and a few more in progress and on hold until December, and @rodiniaorzetalthepenquin is a great source for ace!sastiel content of varying levels, but we could always use more! Feel free to send prompts, too!
