So, I’ve been wanting to dabble in some smuttier artwork for awhile now, but since folks are following me for cute chibis and such, I don’t want to just start posting such things and catch anybody unawares. XD;

Would smutty things always tagged “nsfw” scare anybody away, you think? It would, of course, not replace the chibis and cute stuff, just be in addition. I adore chibis too much to ever stop drawing those. ♥

Update: I now have one (1) smut, and am unsure whether to post it or make a whole other blog just for NSFW art or…yeah, I’ll think about it tomorrow when I’m not so tired. ^^;

FHdskghf people are so encouraging in the comments on this, thank you! The thought of tagging people on my smutty art kind of makes me want to hide, but it’s flattering you’re asking, LOL.

I thought my options were to make a specific tag for smut that people could blacklist if wanted or to make a NSFW blog. Turns out there’s a nice third option: post a crop of the art with a “read more” cut to the full piece.

There’s also the fact that Tumblr marks blogs NSFW if you post explicit content, which would mark the entire rest of my blog as explicit even though it’s mostly touchy-feely fluff and chibis. =/ Hmm.

Okay, I’m not sure why I’m surprised people are expecting smutty art in chibi style, but it surprised me a bit! (Probably because a few folks on Twitter were disturbed at the idea of a chibi shibari pic, like they think chibi = child…)

Chibi is just another art style of the same adult characters I love, so I guess there’s no reason I would not be able to draw strangely adorable chibi smut. XD What a notion. LOL

Yea, well, I’m still trying to figure out why Tumblr thinks my blog is explicit, and they don’t answer any of my requests, which annoys the living fudge out if needed, but whatevs…
