Spoiling his only nephew is one of Dean’s favorite things to do. Today is Noah’s birthday, so they’re looking for the perfect toy to bring back to Dean’s for Noah’s first-ever sleepover. When he sees the stuffed animals in a display window, he’s drawn to them… and Dean is drawn to Cas, the clerk who helps Noah get over his belief that he’s too old for a stuffed toy.
Sam’s powers take a new turn right around the time he meets Dean’s Angel Savior. He’s weirded out by being able to hear things that Dean can’t and that Castiel is looking at him funny for responding to, until Castiel figures out what’s going on. He begins investigating Sam since that’s something he was not prepared for, and the next time Sam and Castiel run into each other, Sam is overwhelmed by overhearing Castiel broadcasting his newfound respect, admiration, and love for Sam.
While they are not psychology majors, octopuses can be very clever when it comes to hunting strategies.
I especially love this one, a scare tactic quite efficient, especially with shrimps. The octopus will creep up to its prey and tap it on its shoulder. Out of sheer reflex, the startled victim will leap away from whatever touched it, ending into the clutches of the waiting octopus.
Simple and effective. But in order to do that, the octopus must be able to understand some basic psychology, or to project itself in the mind of the victim. Or maybe I go too far, but in any case I find it amazing !
