Once again, doing fanart cleanses my soul! I’ll always miss Eileen as a character, and I loved whatever chemistry was going on between these two. Her time was so short lived! I’d like to do more fanart of her in the future cause God knows she didn’t get enough screen time.

I feel you (also sorry, I just had to put that line in). I think the fandom at large fell madly in love Eileen and the amount of support for Sam/Eileen, even as only friends was huge! I mean, let’s be real, we wanted them snuggling not as friends but even still. They were amazing influences on each other!
She was so independent and badass and openly emotional. She was perfect for Sam. I loved seeing him happy, and with someone he could openly be himself with.
A fresh new influence, and losing her broke my heart
They just killed her off with the same weight and importance as a stranger. She wasn’t a stranger, we loved her
And it’s weird when you lose someone on Supernatural, because you are almost dazed and confused…Will they come back? The main three always come back? Sometimes other characters do, but it’s er less likely with certain demographics
Do we hold on hope? I kinda do. I hope they realise, that they bring her back. Is it realistic to hope? I don’t know. S13 is the type of season where all bets are off. And Supernatural jumped the ‘absurd shark’ a long time ago, wherein unlikely things can happen. But then I try to keep my expectations low for things like that, and for keeping characters we like, and for things ever, ever getting better. No, catch me in the pit of despair, yelling profanities and declaring my undying loyalty for so many characters who were truly worth everything
Anyway, here’s to Eileen Leahy. We’re all still in love with you

Castiel placed his hands over Gabriel’s forehead, using a little of his grace to try and break through Gabriel’s near catatonic state of mind.
“This isn’t working, Sam.” Cas shook his head with a deep frown after a few moments. “He’s not actively blocking me, but I can’t get through to him.”
Across the room, Sam sighed, his one large hand rubbing his temples in frustration.
“Well, don’t force it,” he grumbled. “pushing too hard could make it worse, or set him off again.”
“I don’t know how else to get through to him.” Castiel spoke softly, almost to himself as he ran a hand down through Gabriel’s dirty hair. The archangel didn’t move, didn’t flinch over the touch. His sad eyes trailed up from Gabriel’s haggard form to the Enochian symbols seared into the walls of the bedroom.
“When did he do this?” he asked as he rounded the bed and ran his hands along the writing.
“I don’t even know. One minute there was nothing, then I blinked and the walls were covered in,” Sam gestured in the direction of the walls, “this. Is it a warding?”
“No, it’s scripture. His story.” Castiel turned back to Gabriel, determined to try and break him free of this oblivious state of mind. “Sam, would you please close your eyes for a moment.”
The hunter shifted uncomfortably in his chair. “Why, Cas? What are you gonna do?”
“I’m going to use my wings to try and get through to Gabriel. They are an extension of my grace, but the touch will be less intrusive to him.” Cas rested a hand on Gabriels shoulder, nervously looking over to Sam. “You may want to- um, could you move your chair back a little?”
My final request: from @happihufflepuff- “Imagine Sam and Eileen’s kid only liking being held by Eileen. She cannot STAND being held by Sam or Dean. Sometimes even Dean looking at her will send her into a fit. Sometimes Cas stops by and the baby is okay with being held by Cas which of course makes Mr. Moose very jealous.”
