What hurts my heart is that the child’s reaction was not scripted 😦
I just love this so much.
I bet he snuggled the Heck right outta her after that traumatic shot. Reassured her that he was okay. I’ve read he’d built up a bond with her, playing with her between shots & set-ups, so she wouldn’t be scared of him when he came rushing into the scene. Flip side of that was, when Sammy goes down, little girl goes APE because there went her big friend. 🙁

I laugh every time because this is at the Opryland hotel and I used to work there and we used to vault these stages all the time because they’re so fucking high it’s ridiculous.
