Summary: When jumping through universes in an attempt to save his mother, Sam winds up in the End!verse in 2018, four years after Dean’s own visit.  Eileen Leahy is the runner for one of the few remaining human settlements who finds him after stepping through the portal.  
Sam tries not to let his unresolved feelings for his universe’s Eileen to bleed through, but he can’t help it–End!Eileen has all the same traits that made him fall for his version.  Meanwhile, Eileen tries not to fall for a man who will be gone in a week.

“If you take first watch, you get to snack,“ Eileen said.

Without another word, she burrowed into the cot’s sparse blankets and closed her eyes.

Sam hadn’t had anything to eat since she’d thrown a very stale pack of animal crackers from her backpack at him a few hours ago, so he made short work at his half of the crackers.  They were just as stale, but that didn’t matter much to his rumbling stomach.

He took the shotgun and trained his eyes and ears on the door. Behind him, Eileen dropped off to sleep, her breathing heavy and even.

His chest constricted again.

Now, more than ever, he wanted to get back to Dean and a universe he understood. Every solid breath behind him was a reminder of how his Eileen wasn’t breathing anymore. He’d meant what he’d said to Dean a year ago—he’d thought of something, of settling down with a hunter. And then, like the universe was giving its blessing, he’d met Eileen a few weeks later. Meeting this version wasn’t catharsis—it was just a twist of the knife.

Summary: Regency AU. When Eileen Leahy discovers that her cousin plans to keep control of her fortune, even after she comes of age, she is incensed. Her plan to retain her independence will force her to betray Sam Winchester’s trust, but though he is hurt, Sam is still determined to do the right thing and help her.
“I could teach you,” Eileen surprised herself by offering. “When I am not occupied by my housekeeping duties that is.” It was a foolish offer. She needed to focus her energies on thwarting Cousin Arthur. If the papers Mr. Davies had brought with him yesterday proved useful, she might be able to slip out in the night with no one the wiser about her brief foray into service.

Truly, there was no cause to treat this as if it would be a long-term position, and yet, she had been touched by Mr. Winchester’s attempts to sign, especially to someone whom he believed to be a mere servant. It spoke well of him, even if his signs had been – well, a proper lady ought to have been shocked by what he had accidently said, but Eileen had grown up by the side of her Aunt Lillian, a decidedly plain-spoken, occasionally earthy, woman. A little accidental vulgarity would hardly send her into the vapours.

In the study, Mr. Winchester seated himself behind a large oak desk, and gestured for her to take one of the comfortable facing armchairs.

“Will you be wanting a letter of character?” she asked. She had spent the previous evening forging just such a document, and went now to draw it from her reticule, but Mr. Winchester waved her off.

“I believe that coming from Mr. Jarvis’s establishment is recommendation enough.”

She withdrew her hand, unsure if she felt relieved, or disappointed that her hard work would be going to waste. “In that case, perhaps you could tell me about the duties you require?” She would spend the day performing those chores, then slip back into the study in the evening, find the information she needed, and be gone before dawn.

Christmas came and
went.  The bunker was festive enough, but
the holiday hadn’t been that big of a deal to the Winchesters before, so it
wasn’t a huge thing this year either, even with their newly formed family.

After so much
drama and craziness in their lives, both Sam and Dean had given in to what they
both really wanted out of life: partners who would be there with them through
thick and thin, partners who could help them hunt but also keep them grounded
in the real world.

A/N: This takes place somewhere after the S12 finale when the BMOL were hunting down the hunters and killing them. May contain spoilers. This is the angstiest thing I have written in probably a year.

Sam stared at his laptop screen in disbelief. The video chat app said it was Eileen calling, but that couldn’t be. Eileen Leahy had died; Sam had seen her cold, lifeless body for himself. Her beautiful, porcelain skin ripped to shreds by some monster. He and Dean didn’t even bother to track it and kill, it was working for the British Men of Letters.

Heart thumping in his chest, he looked around the empty motel room cautiously before he hit the answer button.

“Eileen?” Sam marveled. It was her face he was seeing and he leaned in closer to the screen.
