But no, I don’t think some people realize. SAM. IS. DYING. And Dean doesn’t know and Sam is desperately trying to find a cure and Dean just says fart and Sam smiles and laughs a little. Sam is dying and Dean has the power to make Sam momentarily forget the pain he’s in over the phone and I just think that’s beautiful.
