When Rowena told Sam that she found a lead on a way to save Dean from Michael, he dropped everything to follow up with her. He probably shouldn’t have been surprised when it ended with them handcuffed together.
I really want Sam Winchester to be a witch.
It would just suit his character so well to get lost in ancient books about magic symbols. Or him visiting strange gardens to collect herbs for his next spell. And for him to experiment a little and spice up the magic with his own ideas.

My Notes: Though this is more about Dean than Sam (Sam is still a main character!), I really love what she did with the boy’s relationship and the change in their dynamics. It’s a really interesting work and Dean’s mental changes are very well integrated and believable!
