Random unasked for head canon: the Empty only very very rarely wakes up, right? And hates it? And didn’t he seem to give in to Cas pretty quick?

What do you want to bet that last time the Empty woke up, it was ALSO Castiel’s fault?

I bet The Empty has been woken every time Cas died and got resurrected. He’s probably pissed that Cas treats him like a supermarket with a revolving door.

“Oh for fuck’s sake, not you again. Get out. And you forgot your jacket last time! Asshole.”

One time, the Empty was in such a hurry to get rid of Cas and go back to sleep, he sent him back totally naked with no memories. The Empty’s not a total asshole, he just wants to sleep, so he actually feels a little bad about that. The new clothes this time was his small way of making up for that.
